American Spirit Run 2023!

3rd Annual American Spirit Run!

A Relay Race between Fort Sam Houston & Camp Bullis to commemorate the historical training of those now recognized as our 'Greatest Generation' and who served in the 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis and WWII. It is open to all who wish to register a team. The finish line will be at Eisenhower Park on NW Military (almost at Camp Bullis) where winners will receive medals and spectators can enjoy music, vendors, entertainment & fun.

Runners will cast their aim at Camp Bullis while the community will plant THOUSANDS of flags along NW Military Highway to lend a spectacular site as runners head towards their finish line!  Once registered you'll receive full relay marathon information to include relay points to better organize your runners. 

Attendance:

Your prompt arrival for the event is absolutely necessary for its success. Teams will be awarded based on time.

 6:00am –  6:30am            Check- In at John James Park 3910 Rittiman Rd, San Antonio, TX 78234

 7:00am                              Start of Run

What to Wear:

If it's hot we recommend a cool off towel for your neck.  We encourage teams to create team shirts, though event shirts will be given with registration.  We will have watering stations thru-out our course. 

What to Bring:

Sunscreen and sunglasses are always great to have, too.  Under NO circumstances will we allow anyone to participate wearing any obscene attire. Although we’re all about the freedoms allotted us by those who sacrifice themselves every day, this is a family/community event and a time to come together honorably.

Lunch/Refreshments:

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all runners.  A food coupon will be given at check-in along with an American Spirit Alliance T-shirt we encourage everyone to wear.
